Funding is provided mainly by Nato, by International Unions, by Bio-Tech Companies, by the University of Bologna and by the Ettore Majorana Centre. It covers expenses borne by invited speakers for travel and subsistence, plus contributions to help young promising scientists.

Twelve months after these pages were published, the Nato Scientific Committee "Science for Peace", section Chemistry, Biology, Physics, has awarded a large grant to the meeting, changing the title into "Integrating Crystallography in the Fight Against Terrorism", in order to make the title more easily understood by non scientists. To avoid confusion, we have decided to keep these pages to the old title, while adopting the suggested one for all official documents.
