During the meeting, participants anywhere in the world
may hear and see the lecture live using streaming media technology,
and ask questions of the speaker in real-time via a chat room or email.
After the meeting, the lectures and Powerpointfiles remain on the web,
as a permanent educational resource. The virtual course is particularly
appreciated by scientists who, whether due to a busy schedule, traditional
oversubscription or other difficulties are still able to follow (and
