blown away by a storm just before the end of the 20th century
From here a stone carriage way (now under water) was used to carry the dead
inhabitants
to the mainland, when the old cemetery (still visible) was no longer sufficient

and his team - often with the Crystallographers on the island - which is the subject
of great disputes between Archaeologists, about its origin,
its representation, its significance in the Mozia history.
